Our Founder & Director
Welcome to Pincushion Montessori International School (PMIS) and thank you for your interest in our school. PMIS is a co-educational school serving the community of Vellore by providing a comprehensive education from Early Years to Grade XII
Learning the right answers will get you through school, learning how to learn will get you through life. Based on this philosophy, at PMIS we enable the children to think not simply memorize feedback and forget. We are preparing our children for an unknown future. The challenges they face are going to be quite different from the ones we have now. So the best we can do is to provide them with the right set of skills that would aid them to thrive and be successful in the future.
PMIS is the first of its kind in Vellore, not to mention the entire district. We offer Montessori education all the way up to grade III. We are affiliated to the Council for the School Certificate Examination and the curriculum is designed and followed to offer ISC examination at the end of class XII. The school demonstrates that its academic programmers are of the highest quality

Fostering this sense of belonging and culture of kindness comes from hiring, training and retaining the right mix of people who are extremely talented at what they do and are committed to developing a positive school climate. Our constant pursuit of excellence in school education has earned us the status of one of the premier schools in Vellore and we have received an overwhelming response from the local community. I am really proud to be the head of such an exciting and dynamic school and to work with the well-organized and ever evolving academic and admin team.
